CS2 Terminals (also known as 'Uplink Terminals') were first introduced in CS2 on 17 September 2025 as part of the Show Off update, and serve as the successor to CS2 weapon cases.
Breaking the seal on a terminal enables the player to receive a maximum of 5 offers for skins from a collection which they can purchase. To view the next offer requires the player to decline the current offer. If all 5 offers are declined, the terminal self-destructs and is removed from your inventory.
Prime Drops (Weekly Care Package)
Terminals are exclusively available in the CS2 active drop pool (officially known as the weekly care package). Terminals can drop to players who have Prime Status on their CS2 account. Prime Status can be obtained by purchasing the Prime Status Upgrade from the Steam store.
The Sealed Dead Hand Terminal is the most recent CS2 terminal to be added to the Prime Drop pool.
Discontinued Terminals
Discontinued terminals do not drop at all and are only available via marketplaces and trading.
