About CS2 Stickers
Stickers can be applied to any CS2 weapon skin including the default skins of each weapon. Once a sticker is applied it cannot be recovered. However, each sticker can be scraped multiple times to slowly remove the sticker until it is removed entirely. Scraping some stickers can reveal alternative patterns or hidden text.
Stickers cannot be applied to rare special items including knives and gloves.
How to obtain stickers
Stickers can be obtained in the follwing ways:
- Opening a sticker capsule - these can be purchased from within the CS2 game client or from the Steam Community Market. Some older capsules require a key to open
- Purchasing from the Steam Community Market or another third-party website
- Trading with other players on Steam
- Found already applied on some skins on the marketplace (note that these stickers cannot be removed from the skin and placed on another skin, but can be scraped or destroyed)

Types of Stickers
Team Stickers
Team stickers made their first appearance during the ESL Major Series One Katowice 2014. At first they could be obtained in regular and holo variants, but they have since been expanded with a foil variant briefly replacing the holo variant before re-adding the holo variant and a new gold variant. They can be obtained randomly from team sticker capsules in regular, foil and gold variants. Two gold stickers, one for each participating team in a match is automatically applied to weapon skins unboxed from a souvenir package.
Katowice 2014 team stickers are widely considered within the community to the best team stickers ever produced due to their minimalist and unobstructed design.
Autograph Stickers
Player autograph stickers made their first appearance during the ESL One: Cologne 2015 Major. They can be obtained randomly from autograph sticker capsules in regular, foil and gold variants. An autograph of the player who was the MVP for a specific round is printed as a gold sticker on weapon skins unboxed from a souvenir package.
Operation Stickers
Operation stickers are exclusively available for the duration of the CS:GO operation that they released alongside. They can typically be purchased with one operation star by players with an active operation pass. At the conclusion of the operation, all stickers released as part of the operation are discontinued permanently.

Katowice 2014 Stickers
The CS:GO Katowice 2014 stickers are some of the most rare and sought after stickers in the entire game. Their rarity largely being due to the limited supply purchased during the Katowice 2014 major when the CS:GO playerbase was still in its infancy. As the popularity of CS:GO grew over the years and the increase in players opting to invest in skins, knives and stickers resulted in the supply of these stickers being largely controlled by some of the wealthiest people in the CS:GO community.
The Titan Holo and iBUYPOWER Holo are arguably the two most desirable stickers from the Katowice 2014 sticker collection and are often used on sticker crafts for the AK-47, M4A4, M4A1-S and AWP.
